Hey everyone! Today is very different than what I normally do for my nails.  I hardly ever have silver nails, but hey, it's fall and I figured silver will do great for fall.  Plus, it's nice to change things up every once in a while.  This is Essie, No Place Like Chrome, and it's awesome.  The application is a little tricky, but once you get used to how to apply this color, it will really pay off.  It has a really cool mirror effect which I love! I also think this will go wonderfully with some fashion statement rings, which, I also love! Okay, enough said, on to the pictures!

Okay okay, the stamping wasn't my best attempt, but I figured it's something that will only be in the way if I pay REAL close attention to it.  Like I said, the color is awesome, and with the stamp, it's wearable. For a day or two.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Pink and Rose Gold

Hey everyone!  Today I have a pink summer polish called Pink Plumeria by China Glaze.  It's a beautiful pink color that came out in the summer neon 2012 collection. It's very bright in person and has a very subtle gold shimmer that complements the color beautifully. I had it on for about a day or so before i added this art.  Sorry I didn't take pictures of the polish by itself! However, for the art, I used Essie's Penny Talk and a Kiss white nail polish striper.  Now without further ado, here are the photos!

I hope you guys enjoyed my pictures!  Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys have been enjoying a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Nude and Rose Gold Glitter!

Hello everyone!  How was your Wednesday? Great, I hope.  For today's manicure, I went with a nude color and a rose gold glitter accent nail!  What do you guys think? Yay? Or nay? I don't learn and improve unless you guys tell me!  I'm a lover of constructive criticism, so don't hesitate to suggest anything!
The colors I used are Essie- Sandy Beach, and Milani- Disco Lights.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

This week's manicures =)

Hey everyone! This week, I did a few manis, well it was technically four, but I absolutely detested the glitter gradient.  Not only that, but I was going to use it for my birthday mani, so that was a no go and I redid my nails that night of course.  In order, here are my designs of the week.

Ok, so this was my glitter gradient.  The base color was Sinful Colors- Unicorn, and for the gradient I went with a copper color glitter.  I did this the night before my birthday and I hated it, since it was already really late,  I just erased this one and stuck with a new solid color.
This is my new solid color I bought recently.  It's a very popular color China Glaze- Ruby Pumps.  And let me tell you I AM IN LOVE with this color!!! Now I know if I'm feeling down, or any lack of inspiration for nail art, I can paint my nails this color, and just leave it be.  This color is gorgeous and I will never be adding this or using this color for art or anything of that.  It's meant to stand on its own.
Once I took off the China Glaze, I missed my nail art haha.  So I did a simple nail art on an accent nail.  The base color is Sinful Colors- Purple Diamond.  I love it!
Just a few dots and a sweep and even though it's hard to see, there's a yellow gem in there.  I think purple and yellow are good colors that go well together.
Now this one, is to celebrate my last day of finals.  Water marbling is so time consuming especially with the clean up and what not, so now that I have the time... why not?  I did this one just this afternoon.  The colors used were OPI-Lucky Lucky Lavender, China Glaze- For Audrey, and Sinful Colors- Unicorn.  I'm in love with the combination of these colors.
Thanks for reading guys! Please, tell me what you guys liked and didn't like and if you have any suggestions or ideas, then please feel free to let me know!

First Blog!

Hey everyone! My name is Jessica and I'm 22 years old.  I just started getting into nail art here at home and it's been really helping me cope here at home with some stress from school and everything. So I decided it would be better if I did a weekly blog of my manicures and such to keep me going in this.  Of course since I am new, I apologize for any future mishaps!  Thanks for taking the time to visit here!

This design is my very first, which explains how dreadful it looks.  I like the design, but not sure about the colors I picked out for it though.  Plus I used the Sally Hansen's nail art pen; it was TERRIBLE
This is one of my favorites =) I used Wet n Wild's Raincheck, and the Kiss nail art polishes for the stripes.
Bonus for the kitty!!
